Central Kalimantan Regional Police Holds Mass Vaccination at Central Kalimantan Traditional Markets to Commemorate Pancasila's Birthday

inp.polri.go.id – Palangkaraya. The Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police (Kapolda Kalteng), Pol. General Inspector Dedi Prasetyo, visited a traditional market in Palangka Raya City to ensure that the vaccination was carried out safely and smoothly as programmed by the government. During his visit, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief was accompanied by the Central Kalimantan Governor, Deputy Governor, Military Resort Commander 102 Panju Panjung, and Central Kalimantan Chief of Staff to monitor mass vaccination activities. The mass vaccination in commemoration of the Birthday of Pancasila was held at the Big Market, Public Works Market and Kahayan Market, Palangka Raya City, Tuesday (1 June 2021) morning. Regarding the target of accelerating the government's program for mass vaccination, the Central Kalimantan's Regional Police Chief targets to give 2000 vaccines to the people of Palangka Raya City, targeting the elderly, market traders and public servants. "The purpose of this mass vaccination is to accelerate the government's vaccination program to prevent the spread of Covid-19 throughout Central Kalimantan," explained the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief. The two-star general added that this vaccination activity is an effort by the government to provide a sense of security and comfort to market traders and buyers when making buying and selling transactions because the traders have been vaccinated so that it is expected to increase economic growth during the Covid-19 pandemic. "People's high enthusiasm makes this mass vaccination ran well, and of course, we from the ranks of the Central Kalimantan Police will continue to monitor health protocols during this mass vaccination process," explained the Central Kalimantan's Regional Police Chief. In addition to monitoring these activities, the Regional Police Chief and his entourage also distributed masks to officers and the public.
