In celebrating the Islamic New Year of 1444 H, the Central Lampung Police along with the ranks of the polices in Central Lampung region, held a charity act to underprivileged residents, especially the elderly in the Bangun Rejo district, Central Lampung regency, Sunday, (31/07/22). In their social activity, they gave food supplies, such as rice, eggs, cooking oil, sugar, sardines, sweet soy sauce, wheat flour, and instant noodles, directly door-to-door to the underpriviliged people in the region. The aid was given directly by the Provos Chief Unit of Bangun Rejo Police, Aipda Ricky Febriyanto, along with members of Bhayangkara Security Unit. inp.polri.go.id – The Bangun Rejo Police Chief, AKP Ferryantoni, explained that those acitivity is an act of sincerity while also the implementation of “The Heart of a Helper” which means that the police would always be there to help the people in need with sincerity. Those who received the help are mbah Palembang (89) from Sidoluhur Village, mbah Hadiri (70), Mustakim (50), Suyati (45), and Ifah (28) from Bangun Rejo. “Hopefully the aid will be able the help the people, especially the elders, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic that is still pretty much still happening until now,” he said. On that occassion, the personnel encouraged the people to stay strong and also complying with the helath protocols to prevent the Covid-19 virus.
