This was mentioned by Police Inspector General Eko after listening to a pledge or promise made by members of the South Sumatra Pharmaceutical Association (GP) to help the government in the Rekonfu room on the third floor of South Sumatra Regional Police, Wednesday (07/21/2021).
Chief South Sumatera Regional Police explained that until now, members from the Directorate of Special Crimes Investigation of South Sumatera Regional Police together with Resort City Police/Resort Police ranks continue to monitor in the field.
"Alhamdulillah, until now there has been no hoarding or price increase beyond the highest retail price. If it is found according to their promise, we will take action," Chief of South Sumatera Regional police explained accompanied by Head of South Sumatera Provincial Health Agency Lesty Nuraini Director of Special Crimes of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Anton Setywan, Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police represented by Head of Sub-Division of Public Affairs, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Iralinsah
On this occasion, members of South Sumatera Pharmacy GP also handed over medicines to be distributed to several hospitals.
"In addition to strengthening the relationship, they also handed over medicines to be distributed to several hospitals," Chief South Sumatera Regional Police said.
Meanwhile, General Chairperson of South Sumatera Pharmacy GP, Saryono said the assistance provided was the result of donations from several members to assist the government in fighting Covid-19 spread.
"We provide assistance such as medicines, masks, hand sanitisers, multivitamins and others, which we symbolically handed over to Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police," he mentioned.
He ensured South Sumatera GP Pharmacy will not hoard the medicine that causes price increases. “We ensure through the oath, witnessed directly by Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police. And if we violate, we are ready to accept legal sanction," he concluded.
