Located at Kertapati Railway station, Palembang, Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Inspector General Eko Indra Heri, accompanied by High-Rank Officers of South Sumatera Regional Police, Chief of Palembang City Resort Police, Police Grand Commissioner Irvan Prawira, monitored the implementation of vaccination cooperation between South Sumatera Regional Police and Indonesia Railway Company (PT. KAI).
Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police hopes vaccination activity can increase herd immunity, especially for public servants. Because they are one of the pillars that serve the community and become an important part.
The two-star general also appreciated people who have high awareness that they participate in vaccination activity and continue to implement the Covid-19 Health Protocol.
This makes 3M –washing hands with soap, keeping the distance, and wearing masks, become the new healthy lifestyle. If public servants are healthy in their activities, they are motivated to work in serving the community.
"So that transportation activity in serving community can run well and smoothly," Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police explained.
At the same time, Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Supriadi said the vaccination activities organized by Palembang City Resort Police in collaboration with PT KAI Palembang were manifestation of Indonesia National Police's concern for the community, and public servants.
The goal is to reduce Covid 19 Pandemic, especially Palembang City Area.
Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police said this vaccination activity was targeted at 200 people. The target was public servants and this was the first injection with dose of one.
Therefore, public is asked for their awareness to take part in vaccinations and continue to apply Covid 19 Health Protocols.
"Another thing that needs to be considered is not crowding and reducing mobility. The vaccine is expected o increase herd immunity and keep praying to the Almighty," Head of Public Affairs of South Sumatera Regional Police explained.
