inp.polri.go.id - Commemorating the 76th Bhayangkara Day, the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police (Polri) held a Road Safety Campaign with the theme "Implementation of Art Policing" in order to create security, safety, order, and smooth traffic at Car Free Day, Bundaran HI, Central Jakarta, Sunday (3/7/22).
The Head of Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Polri, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi said this activity aims to invite the public to improve the quality of traffic discipline to reduce the level of traffic violations.
"I always convey and always ask the people to always concerned with the others, by also inviting them to obey the traffic order. By doing that we have already shown our own concern, "explained the Kakorlantas Polri.
According to him, in realizing security, safety, order and smooth traffic, the Korlantas Polri also carries out Art Policing, which is a policing effort with an artistic and cultural approach. "Whereas in realizing social order and civilization, policing approaches are needed by looking at the cultural and social background of the community," he explained.
The general chairman of the Bike To Work Community, Fahmi Saimima, said that his party appreciates and supports the Road Safety Campaign. According to him, this activity is very useful and educates the people of the benefit in obeying the traffic rules.
"We, representatives of the community, atend this event, among other reason, is solely to encourage the role of the society, the role of the people in the community to support safety, security, and traffic order in Indonesia," explained the general chairman of the Bike To Work Community.
Kakorlantas also revealed that through this activities, it is hoped that it can improve the safety quality in the road and decrease it’s fatality rate.
