Inp.polri.go.id - Puncak Jaya. Officers from the Damai Cartenz Task Force conducted routine foot patrols across Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Sunday. Beyond monitoring regional security, officers utilized the patrol to engage in direct community dialogue and gather insights regarding local public order and daily activities.

During the patrol, task force members greeted residents along the route, discussing local safety conditions and urging community members to report potential security risks promptly. Warm interactions marked the activity as personnel distributed snacks to local children while conversing with parents.

Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani said that field patrols aim to maintain security while fostering direct communication channels with local communities.

"The presence of personnel in the field is not only to carry out security duties, but also to listen directly to the conditions faced by the community. Dialogues like this are an important part of our mission," he said on Tuesday (28/7/2026).

Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force, Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga reaffirmed that humanistic and dialogic approaches remain a priority in Papua. Local Muara District resident, Mrs. Mowenda, appreciatedr the regular police presence, noting that direct dialogue allows residents to convey local environmental conditions directly to security officers.

Following patrol sweeps across several strategic points in Muara District, public activities proceeded normally, with security conditions reported as calm and conducive.
