inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. The Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-Terror (AT) conducted a National Insight Socialization with the theme "The Strategic Role of School Principals in Preventing Intolerance, Radicalism, and Terrorist Extremism (IRET) in Schools" for 220 high school, vocational school, and special needs school principals across Aceh Province on Tuesday (January 27, 2026).
This activity aimed to boost principals' understanding of the threat of the spread of IRET ideology, particularly in educational settings that are strategic targets for radical and extremist groups.
"The role of school principals in maintaining a safe, tolerant, and nationally aware school environment is crucial," said Second Police Inspector Nurul Maulana when delivering the subject.
This activity was implemented in collaboration with the Aceh Provincial Education Office as a form of cross-sector synergy in sustainable IRET prevention efforts in education.
Through this activity, it is hoped that school principals will be at the forefront of creating an inclusive, moderate educational environment based on national values.
