inp.polri.go.id - Bojonegoro. The Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-Terror of Indonesian National Police (INP) visited Attanwir Institute of Bojonegoro to outreach the 178 students on the prevention of intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism.

First Police Inspector Edi Purwanto and Arif Budi Setiawan, former terrorist convict, served as speakers in the socialization with the theme of “Strengthening Religious Moderation”.

In their discussion, they talked about the dangers of intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism and how religious moderation can shield them from that.

During the QnA session, they also discuss how terrorist groups seek new members and brainwashes each potential new member.

On the other hand, Densus 88 also distributed a digital copy of a religious moderation pocket book of “"Prevent Radicalism for a Peaceful Indonesia" to all students of the Attanwir Institute of Bojonegoro. They also appealed to students to be careful in using social media because of the many radical ideologies that spread through the media.

With this activity, it is hoped that students of the Attanwir Institute of Bojonegoro can understand the dangers of radicalism and play an active role in preventing the spread of these ideologies in the community. This activity is expected to be the first step in building public awareness and vigilance against the threat of radicalism and terrorism.
