The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform held an appreciation and award for work units that succeeded in obtaining the title of integrity zone towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) in 2021, Monday (12/20/ 2021).
The appreciation and conferment of the Integrity Zone towards Clean Bureaucratic Area Serve of 2021 were handed over directly by the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Tjahjo Kumolo, as part of a series of commemorations of World Anti-Corruption Day. The activity of handing over the Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) predicate is also the final part of a series of evaluation processes to develop the integrity zone towards Clean Bureaucratic Area Serve.
Not much different from the previous year, the appreciation and awarding of the integrity zone towards 2021 will be held with a combination of face-to-face offline and online. The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin, was present online to provide direction to the title recipients.
In 2021, as many as 4,042 work units struggle to pass a series of evaluation processes for the integrity zone. Of the thousands of work units, 486 work units have won the
Corruption Free Area (WBK) predicate.
The awarding of this title is in order to give appreciation to government agencies and units that carry out the construction of an integrity zone so that the community gets excellent service and integrity," said the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia, Tjahjo Kumolo.
Deputy for Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability, and Supervision of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia, Erwan Agus Purwanto, explained that one of the objectives of holding the appreciation and awarding of integrity zones towards Free Corruption Area and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area of 2021 was to show the public that bureaucratic reform has provided tangible results in the form of quality services and with integrity, in line with the needs and expectations of society.
"I also hope that this event can be a forum to explore inputs and suggestions for improvement for the bureaucratic reform program regarding service improvement and integrity," he said.
Of the hundreds of work units that won the Free Corruption Area predicate, the National Police got 36 work units that won the title. Meanwhile, four units in the National Police won the title of Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area.
In this event, appreciation was also given to the leadership of change who succeeded in building a pilot unit. The Head of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, is also one of the recipients of this award. The award was represented and received by the Deputy Chief of Police, General Commissioner Gatot Eddy Pramono.
Regarding the awarding of the Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) integrity zone, which was achieved by the Police, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Pol. Inspector-General of the Police, Dedi Prasetyo, also expressed his gratitude. According to him, this award is an effort by the National Police to eliminate the culture of corruption, improve performance and improve public services.
The Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) predicate is not only a symbol but is a tangible manifestation of creating an authoritative, clean and serving bureaucracy," said Dedi.
He also emphasized that the National Police will continue to improve and continue to increase the number of work units included in the Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) predicate.
"The National Police continues to strive to be better in order to always provide the best service to the community and create an environment free from corruption, collusion and nepotism," he said.
