The achievements include a decrease in crime rates, a decrease in terror acts, and an increase in case being resolved with restorative justice. In this regard, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Ahmad Sahroni, saw that these various achievements show the commitment of the police in realizing the vision of Precision Police. In fact, leading an institution as big as the National Police (Polri) is not an easy feat, coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic conditions. "First I would like to wish a happy Bhayangkara Day to Polri. On this happy day, I would like to congratulate the Police for their brilliant achievements in the last few years which are very concrete and empirically proven," said Sahroni, Friday (1/7/2022). “Managing a state institution as big as the National Police, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, is certainly not an easy feat. Kapolri General Listyo Sigit has proven that he is not only capable, but very brilliant in leading the Bhayangkara institution," he continued. According to the Nasdem Party politician, the Precision Police principle which stands for predictiveness, responsibility, and transparency, is not just a slogan, but has been actually practiced in daily assignments by the police officers. “The vision of Precision Police is indeed not just a slogan, but actually becomes the main values for Polri. All of this can be seen through their achievements, such as the reduced crime rates, optimizing restorative justice, encouraging the role of policewomen, to the extraordinary contribution of Polri during the Covid-19 pandemic," he said. Lastly, Sahroni added, although there are still many things that must be evaluated, the attitude of the police so far, which is not anti-critic and even open to it, has made the police to remain the leading agency that serves and protects the community. "It is undeniable, there are still many things that must be evaluated on the performance of the Police, but I am very optimistic, with the current attitude of the police, which is very open and not anti-critical, the police will remain at the forefront in serving and protecting the community," concluded the legislator from Tanjung Priok.
