inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit investigation team uncovered a drug trafficking network in North Jakarta. In this disclosure, investigators arrested a suspect AR alias Amin.

The Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation of INP, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso explained that the suspect acted as a courier. He was arrested while traveling by car, yesterday (9/28/2025), at 16.57 pm on Ende street, Tj. Priok, North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta 14310.

"From the suspect, 25 packages of crystal methamphetamine packaged in Chinese tea, 550 ecstasy pills, and five small packages suspected of containing 27 grams of gross heroin, as well as 10 PX brand Vape Liquids suspected of containing Etomidate were confiscated," said Eko in an official statement, Monday (9/29/2025).

Eko stated that the disclosure began with information from the investigation team regarding a suspicious four-wheeled vehicle where police had to initially chase the fleeing suspect.

"During the inspection of the vehicle, two brown and white bags containing suspected narcotics were found. Then the team took the suspect and the evidence to the police hq for further investigation," explained Eko.

He stated that the results of the examination of the suspect revealed that he was ordered by a figure often called Om Boss. The suspect was then instructed to take the drugs in exchange for IDR 5 million/Kg.

Investigators also secured a man named Hartono Wijaya who was in the car. However, he was only asked by the suspect Amin to be the driver.

"The witness himself has not received any payment from the suspect," said Eko.
