During the Third Week of December 2021, the South Sumatra Regionnal Police Successfully Secured 40 Suspects Related to Drug Cases

The Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of the South Sumatra Regional Police together with the Resort Departemental Police and Resort Police ranks continuously suppress the perpetrators of illicit goods so that the drug network in the South Sumatra region is getting narrower. This is evidenced by the results in the third week of December 2021, the South Sumatra Regional Police managed to uncover 31 cases regarding perpetrators involved in drug networks in the South Sumatra region. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Toni Harmanto through the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi said that in this third week there were 31 cases that were successfully revealed by the South Sumatra Regional Police's Directorate of Drug Investigation together with the Resort Departemental Police and Resort Police ranks. "From the disclosure of the case, the data that we received were around 40 suspects who were arrested," said the Head of Public Relations, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi, Monday (12/20/21). The Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police explained that 38 of the 40 suspects were drivers and the other two were users. As for the evidence that was secured from the suspects, he continued, 200.15 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 0.96 grams of marijuana and 23 pills of ecstasy. "In revealing this case, there were two cases from the records we received, namely the Narcotics Directorate and the Empat Lawang Police, which did not reveal any cases in the third week," explained the Intermediate Officer of the South Sumatra Regional Police.
