East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police deploys personnel of Vital Object Security Sub-task Force of Semana Santa Turangga Operation to secure churches celebrating Sunday Easter in Kupang City. Several churches secured by personnel are the Saint Joseph Church, Pniel Oebobo Church, Anugerah Eltari Church, Paulus Naikoten Church, Pasar Inpres Church, Oepura Batak Church, Imanuel Oepura Church, Sikumana Testimonial Tent Church, Maranatha Oebufu Church, St. Maria Asumpta Walikota Church, and Ebenhaizer Oeba Church. In its implementation, the security is not only conducted inside the church complex, but also managing the traffic flow around the location. The step was taken to ensure a smooth and solemn ceremony for the people celebrating the Sunday Easter in the church. The mix of security inside and outside the church proved to be an effective strategy in maintaining a peaceful situation around the location. Personnel of Semana Santa Turangga Ops were also able to perform professionally in ensuring that people could celebrate the Good Friday comfortably. With the security provided by the police to the community celebrating the Sunday Easter, it is hoped that the celebration went smoothly and able to boosts public trust towards the police.
