Inp.polri.go.id – North Sulawesi. The North Sulawesi Regional Police Traffic Directorate successfully secured three units of modified cars allegedly used to store Subsidized Solar Fuel. The three cars were secured when they were queuing at Sario Gas Stations, Manado City.
Head of Traffic Patrol, Police Assistant Superintendent Ronny Ibrahim explains that the case was discovered when they were inspecting the gas station and initiated to also inspect the queues.
“We saw there were queues and we came to inspect them. Then, we found the three modified cars and immediately secured them. The cars were modified so that they could store more diesel fuel,” explains Ronny.
He adds that initially they only found one of the modified cars. However, with the growing suspicions for the others, police continued their inspection and found the two other modified cars.
“Eventually we found the two other cars, same as the first car, and we immediately secured them,” concluded Ronny.
