Inp.polri.go.id - For their success in tackling the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in 2023, eleven personnel of Papua Regional Police were given awards by the Indonesian National Police (INP).

The awards given are the scholarship of 2025 Indonesian National Police Staff and Leadership School (Sespim Polri), gold pins, and rank promotions. The award ceremony was held in the Bintang Mountains Sub-regional Police HQ and led by the INP Chief Ops Assistant, Inspector General Verdianto I. Bitticaca on Tuesday May 7th, 2024.

The scholarship for Sespim Polri are awarded to the Vice Head of Bintang Mountains Sub-regional Police, Police Assistant Superintendent Micah Toding Potty and the gold pins are awarded to the Head Ops, Police Assistant Superintendent Menase Sayori, Head Unit of Security Intelligence, First Police Inspector Sutokit, and Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, First Police Inspector Jarwo Sasmito.

Meanwhile, the scholarship for the Police Inspectorate School (SIP) of 2025 was awarded to Senior Police Brigadier Natalius Kalep Paise and Senior Police Brigadier Randi CH. Korwa. On the other hand Brigadier Arman R. Limbong, First Police Brigadier Melkias Petrus Sada Tapu, Second Police Brigadier Hajai Pulalo, Second Police Brigadier Hamow Yoshua Yapsenang, and Second Police Brigadier Riyan Capri are each given promotion one level higher than their previous rank.

The Head Ops of Damai Cartenz, Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani, through the Head of Public Relations Task Force, Superintendent Bayu Suseno confirms the news that Papua Regional Police personnel were given awards.

“It is true, the awards are the scholarship for Sespim Polri, INP Chief gold pins, scholarship for 2025 SIP, and rank promotions in accordance to the Decree of the Indonesian National Police Chief Number 719 Roman V of 2024 regarding the awards to members of the Indonesian National Police who excel," he said.
