Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police increases insulation and public mobility limitation during Emergency PPKM (Public Activity Limitation Enforcement), starting Saturday (3/7/21). Director of Traffic Police Corps of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yugo, explained that there are 63 insulation locations established and tightly guarded by the personnel. Only people with importance in essential and critical sectors are allowed to pass. "As delivered before, during this Emergency PPKM, only essential and critical sectors would be allowed to move freely. To conduct this, we will guard 63 locations. Twenty-eight locations in the city border and highways, 21 locations on the mobility limitation area prone to crowds, and 14 locations on mobility control areas", Director of Traffic Police Corps of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said. Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yugo also added that the insulation would take effect on Saturday (3/7/20) at 00.00 local times. Besides insulation, police officers would also inspect passenger activities on public transport during the Emergency PPKM. "We will hold a law enforcement patrol towards capacity limits of public transports and their operational hours", he explained.
