Ensuring Confidentiality and Security of Victims, East Java Regional Police Opened Hotline to Report Sexual Assault Occured at SPI School in Batu

inp.polri.go.id – Surabaya. The East Java Regional Police has opened hotline to report sexual assault perpetrated by the owner of the Selamat Pagi Indonesia (SPI) School in Batu City. It is expected that the victims would report and testify about the assault they had experienced. There are three hotlines that can be reached, i.e. 0821666092, 085234108323 dan 081234756549. The Head of Public Relation Division of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko ensured the police will guarantee the confidentiality and security of the victimes or those who report through the hotline. "The hotline was deliberately opened to accommodate the possibility of other victims in the case. This is because the case has occurred since 2009, so there may be many victims," Gatot Repli Handoko said, Wednesday (/02/06/21). The Head of Public Affairs of the East Java Regional Police also added the case is still being investigated, Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Investigators has also carried crime reconstruction on this case by involving persons who report the case and the school. Not only that, special team formed by the East Java Regional Police has also started working to explore the result of crime reconstructuon.
