inp.polri.go.id – Surabaya. The National Police Chief (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reviewed the homecoming activity by reviewing the terminals, security posts, service posts, and integrated posts in serving people who want to make a trip to Purabaya Terminal, Surabaya, East Java, Wednesday (27/4/22). General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that currently there has been an increase in passengers at the terminal compared to last week. He also predicted that this will continue for a few days ahead. "If we look at the data, there is an increase compared to last week and it is likely will continue for a few days ahead," Kapolri said. He asked all relevant parties at the terminal to continue to provide the best service for the people. The former head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police also inspects the emission test of buses that will be used by travelers. In addition, bus drivers must also be tested for urine and alcohol. This is done to provide certainty and guarantee safety for travelers. "There is a urine and alcohol test for bus drivers. This is done so that when they are driving the bus, we are sure that they are in a good health and fit to carry the people. We have to make sure of this regard because the trip will be far and it requires a prime condition for the driver," explained Kapolri. Other than that, Kapolri also reviewed the vaccine booth. He hopes that people who have not been vaccinated with booster vaccines will take advantage of the vaccine booth. "We hope that the people who go home and meet their families are all in good health and have a strong immunity, so that after Eid we can keep the Covid-19 situation under control, and can be maintained," he explained. With all the efforts to deal with the homecoming and its return flow, he hopes that this year's homecoming can be carried out in a healthy, safe, and comfortable way.
