Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Viral social media posts on Facebook claiming that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested the Chief of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, in connection with a corruption case involving the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program have been confirmed as completely false.
According to a fact-check by Kompas.com, digital tracking using targeted search engines found no credible news reports or official press statements from law enforcement agencies to substantiate the arrest claim.
While recent reports from Kompas.tv note that the Attorney General's Office (AGO) indicated that Nanik could potentially be summoned as a routine witness in an ongoing MBG investigation, AGO’s Investigation Director Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi clarified that being named a potential witness does not implicate an individual in criminal activities. Furthermore, neither the AGO nor the KPK has issued any formal summons or made any arrests regarding the BGN Chief.
