Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati reaffirmed the country’s commitment to its long-held non-aligned (locally known as bebas aktif) foreign policy—politically and economically—amid escalating global geopolitical tensions.
Shei highlighted the resilience of Indonesia’s fiscal position. As of May 2025, the state budget deficit remains under control at Rp21 trillion, or 0.09% of GDP.
“Indonesia is open to cooperation with all nations for mutual prosperity,” Minister Sri Mulyani said via her official Instagram account published on Wednesday (25/6/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
She emphasized Indonesia’s countercyclical fiscal measures in the face of external shocks and noted stable figures in revenue (Rp995.3 trillion), expenditure (Rp 1,016.3 trillion), and financing (Rp3 24.8 trillion).
Minister Sri Mulyani also engaged with Saudi and Qatari finance ministers during the event to discuss the economic impact of the Iran-Israel conflict.
