Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that over 50 Indonesian citizens evacuated from conflict zones in the Middle East arrived in Jakarta on Wednesday (25/6/2025).

Director for Citizen Protection Judha Nugraha said that the 48 Indonesian citizens and one foreign spouse evacuated from Iran arrived via three commercial flights transiting through Baku, Istanbul, and Doha. This group follows the earlier arrival of 11 evacuees from Iran on Tuesday.

Another three Indonesians from northern Yemen—under Houthi control—were evacuated by the Indonesian Embassy in Muscat. Two more evacuees from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were assisted by the Indonesian Embassy in Amman, Jordan.

The security alert level for Iran, Jordan, and the Israel-Palestine region has been raised to the highest level, "Siaga 1," due to rising tensions in the region.

A total of 97 people agreed to evacuate, including 96 WNI and one Iranian spouse. All were transferred to Baku, Azerbaijan, as a staging point for repatriation.
