inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Finance has established synergy in the development of halal products and sharia financial services with the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH).

This synergy was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Synergy of Implementation of Duties and Functions in the Field of Halal Product Guarantee Implementation and State Finance.

Vice Minister of Finance Anggito Abimanyu stated that the synergy between the Ministry of Finance and BPJPH plays a crucial role in realizing a stronger halal product ecosystem.

The Ministry of Finance is also preparing a roadmap for the development of halal financial services as part of efforts to strengthen the national sharia financial sector.

According to Anggito, strengthening the halal ecosystem cannot rely solely on products but must also be supported by a financial system aligned with sharia principles.

"Halal products are not enough if they are not accompanied by halal financial services, so we are encouraging the issuance of State Sharia Securities (SBSN) as a state financing instrument," said Anggito on Tuesday (7/10/2025).

In addition, the Ministry of Finance is also encouraging the growth of Islamic banking, Islamic insurance, and other Islamic financial services.
