The Ministry of Finance has established synergy in the development of halal products and sharia financial services with the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH).
The Head of the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH), Ahmad Haikal Hasan, encouraged food stall owners, from Tegal food stalls to Padang food stalls to take advantage of the free halal certification process.
The Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) has made halal certification free for Warung Tegal (warteg), Warung Sunda (warsun), Warung Padang (Padang food stall) and similar businesses.

The Ministry of Religion will withdraw and close down businesses whose products are not halal certified. The Halal Product Assurance Supervisor (JPH) has listed the businesses that will be closed.
