The Speaker of the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, Puan Maharani, said that the firm law enforcement against Indonesian National Military (TNI) personnel who allegedly shot three police officers while raiding a cockfight in Way Kanan, Lampung, is a crucial step to maintain the institution's authority and public trust.
"Firm and fair law enforcement against the perpetrators, especially if it involves officers, is a crucial step to maintain the institution's authority and public trust," she said, as reported by Antaranews, on Tuesday (3/18/2025).
