Inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. Lampung Regional Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika said that former South Lampung Sub-regional Police Drug Chief AKP AG, who was allegedly involved in Fredy Pratama's international drug trafficking network, will be dishonorably discharged as a member of the Indonesian National Police (INP).
"The sanction for him is dishonorable dismissal as an INP member, in addition to criminal sanctions that will later be imposed by the court," he said in a statement on Saturday (16/9/2023).
The sanction is a form of Lampung Regional Police's commitment not to be selective against all forms of drug abuse within the INP, the general said.
"We are not selective. This is a deterrent effect and an example so that others do not follow," he said as reported by antaranews.com, adding that the dcision is in line with the policy of INP Chief Generall Listyo Sigit Prabowo to take firm action against anyone, including INP members, involved in drugs trafficking cases
The general said that Lampung Regional Police will soon hold a code of ethics hearing for the former South Lampung Sub-regional Police Head of Narcotics Section, identified as Assistant Superintendent AG.
