Four members of the Indonesian National Police (INP) escort the 2024 General Election logistics to the remote area of Pagimana District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi. The unit carries a box and ballots and other documents on their way to the remote areas by foot. Pagimana Sector Police Chief, Police Senior Inspector Makmur said that unit are distributing the election logistics to Baloa Doda Village Polling Stations. “Due to the distance where they have to walk for three days, we decided to move the logistics ahead of the date,” said Makmur to the press. On the way, the unit has to cross the hills, forest, and strong streams of rivers to get to the village. The team was also supplied with food, instant noodles, and other survival tools to get through the jungle. “I pray the team will be able to send the logistics safely and without trouble. This is how dedicated we are in realizing the election to go smoothly and accordingly,” said Makmur in his conclusion (ad/ta/pr/nm)
