inp.polri.go.id - France and Indonesia have agreed to cooperate in the supply of fighter jets and submarines.
President Emmanuel Macron said that so far it is not clear whether the cooperation is related to buying and selling the main defense system equipment, or joint manufacturing.
This was revealed by Emmanuel Macron while attending the Asia Pacific Economy (APEC) in Bangkok, Thailand as reported by IDXChannel.com, Thursday (11/17).
In February, Indonesia and France signed a $8.1 billion deal for 42 Rafale fighter jets, as part of a series of agreements that also included an order for two Scorpnene submarines.
This makes Indonesia the largest French weapons client in Southeast Asia.
