inp.polri.go.id - Maumere. The government continues to strive to improve the nutrition for school children through the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). This program was again distributed in the Lela and Nita Districts, Sikka Regency. Monday (9/22/2025)
The implementation of the MBG distribution in the area was entrusted to the Lacaza Peduli Kasih Foundation. The distribution of nutritious food targeted 32 schools with a total of 2,379 students receiving benefits.
Details of beneficiaries: Lela District: 26 schools with 1,850 children. Nita District: 6 schools with 529 children. The distribution used four box trucks belonging to the Lacaza Peduli Kasih Foundation, ensuring timely and equitable distribution.
To ensure the smooth and safe running of the program, members of the Lela Sector Police members were present on-site. The entire program concluded at 1:00 p.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) in a safe, orderly, and conducive environment.
This program is expected to help meet the nutritional needs of schoolchildren and encourage improved education through balanced nutrition for the younger generation in Sikka Regency.
