Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The government is addressing urgent needs in flood-affected areas across Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, and South Tangerang, focusing on evacuation, essential supplies, and infrastructure recovery. 

“Our priority is to evacuate affected residents, provide food and necessities—especially critical during Ramadan—and restore damaged infrastructure,” said Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno on Tuesday (4/3/2025).

The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) is leading efforts with the military, police, and humanitarian organizations to coordinate relief. 

“We must act swiftly to save lives and ensure victims receive immediate support,” Minister Pratikno emphasized, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Authorities are also implementing weather modification to reduce rainfall in impacted areas. Residents in flood-prone zones are urged to remain alert. In Tangerang Regency alone, 3,000 people are affected, while South Tangerang reports 1,000 households impacted. Emergency kitchens and relief centers are in place, with aid distribution ongoing to ensure rapid response and recovery.
