The Team of Precision Pioneer Patrol (TPPP) of South Jakarta MetroSub-regional Police arrested nine adolescents who were caught bringing dangerous weapons when bumping with the police patrol team. “They were arrested by South Jakarta Metro Sub-regional Police when the team are conducting patrols,” says South Jakarta Metro Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Monday (12/25/2023). Ade says that the arrest were conducted by patrol teams when they saw the teenagers are gathering around the Melawai. “The team then stops and approaches them to inspect the six teenagers,” says Ade. “After being examined by the team, police found a katana and one golf stick. They were then brought to the HQ to be further examined,” adds Ade. After the police arrest the first group, the patrol team then continue their duty and arrest other teenagers who drove around with motorbikes carrying sharp weapons. Hot pursuit ensues and even one of the groups hits a police member. “The three teenagers carrying three sharp weapons of sickle were then arrested by the Pancoran Sectoral Police,” closed Ade.
