inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian personally handed over a house to the family of the late Affan Kurniawan at the Pesona Kahuripan Complex, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Tito explained that the handover of the house was a form of attention from President Prabowo Subianto to the deceased's family, who directly assigned the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait to prepare a house according to the deceased's mother's choice, as a form of fulfilling Affan's dreams.

"The Minister of Housing immediately moved very quickly to find several alternatives, and his beloved mother chose them," Tito said in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/2/2025)..

On that occasion, Tito was present in his capacity as Minister of Home Affairs as a representative of the government in order to fulfill the deceased's dream of giving a house to his mother.

Tito also expressed his deep condolences over the death of Affan Kurniawan.

He emphasized that this disaster was a grief that was never expected, while hoping that a similar incident would not be repeated in the future.

"We all mourn the death of the late Affan Kurniawan. This is an incident we never wanted," he said.
