inp.polri.go.id - Manado City. North Sulawesi Governor Yulius Selvanus personally met the demonstrators, who called themselves the Peaceful Action Workers' Coalition, to hear the aspirations and asked them to disperse.
"The situation in Jakarta is over, the situation is cooling down. I ask you now to stop the protest and get to work. We heard your aspirations," said Governor Yulius in Manado on Tuesday (9/2/2025).
He said people could come to discuss at any time, especially as the door to exchange opinions is open until 04.00 am.
"Come to me, we can discuss it. The door for discussion is always open. I'm always open until four in the morning. I also stay up late to receive guests," he said.
The governor added that the provincial government always wants to hear the aspirations of the people and then put them into practice to advance the province at the northern tip of Sulawesi.
"If you have any aspirations, please come to me. We can discuss them. If not here (at the governor's office), then at home," Governor Yulius said.
Governor Yulius reiterated that he was never allergic to receiving corrections or allergic to accepting aspirations for the progress of North Sulawesi, for the progress of his beloved Great Indonesia.
