"We appreciate Polri's dedication to ensuring peaceful elections and their commitment to maintaining national unity post-elections," said Nasaruddin in a statement after a visit from the National Cooling System (NCS) Operation Team led by NCS Deputy Chief Brigadier General Yuyun Yudhantara on Friday (1/3/2024).
He emphasized Istiqlal Mosque's role as a bridge between the government and the people, among citizens, across nations, and among religions.
Furthermore, Imam Nasaruddin highlighted Istiqlal Mosque's ability to provide calmness, tranquility, and order during this period, stressing that mosques are places of worship, not for inciting hatred.
Looking ahead, he hopes the community will maintain national unity for ongoing development and to address future challenges.
