Inp.polri.go.id – Ilaga. Nemangkawi Task Force managed to immobilise three members of Armed Criminal Group (KKB) of Lekagak Telenggen Group in Ilaga district, Puncak regency, Papua. Due to the immobilisation, police convinced that this group are getting cornered. "These KKB terrorists are getting cornered. Three group members now have immobilised", Chief of Task Force PR of Nemangkawi Operation, Police Grand Commissioner M. Iqbal Al-Qudusy in Jakarta, Thursday (10/6/2021). Chief of Task Force PR of Nemangkawi Operation reminds the people not to spread hoaxes on law enforcement towards these KKB members. Police, he continued, would legally process those fake news spreaders. "For other hoax spreaders, Armed Forces-Police will enforce the law. The country will not lose against some people with political desire who sacrifice civilians and spreading terror in Indonesia's Papua province", Chief of Task Force PR of Nemangkawi Operation said. As informed, three KKB members are reported to be shot, with one of them dead. The three KKB members are Tinggiter, Manis, and Keminus Murib. "Information gathered from local people and our monitoring crew stated that two people, Tinggiter and Manis, are wounded. One other person, Keminus Murib, is dead", Chief of Task Force PR of Nemangkawi Operation.
