inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Chief, Commissioner General Wahyu Widada conveys that police have sent a team to help investigate the shooting of South Solok Sub-regional Police.
“A team from the Criminal Investigation Agency has been sent, both from Indonesian Automatic Fingerprint Identification System and the General Criminal Investigation Directorate,” says Wahyu in a press conference at the Indonesian National Police HQ on Friday (11/22/2024).
According to Wahyu, currently the legal process has already been going with intense investigation on the suspect.
“Other aspects will be handled by the West Sumatra Regional Police. We are saddened and grieved for this incident and now we are committed to look into this case with full attention from INP HQ,” says Wahyu.
It was reported that previously at 00.15 am in South Solok Sub-regional Police, a terrifying incident occurred. Suspect Dadang was reported to shot his subordinate, Ulil Riyanto, from a point blank. Dadang was initially running away, but later turned himself in to the police. A thorough investigation is ongoing.
