inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police have resummoned the former head of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri (FB). The summons is to complete the case file for the alleged extortion case against former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).

"For the follow-up plan for the investigation in handling of the case, an additional examination of suspect FB has been scheduled for next week," explained the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters on Friday (11/22/2024).

According to Ade the summons is in FB's capacity as a suspect. The summons are in order to fulfill the case file for the alleged violations of article 12e or 12B or article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code.

Ade added that the summons letter has already been sent to FB.

"The summons letter for the suspect has been sent on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024," said the Director Ade.
