Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy continue to improve the facilities of tourist destinations in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. The move was taken as Natuna Regency has been included in the National Strategic Tourism Area.

"This facility improvement must be executed together. For this, we (from the central government) will help through Special Allocation Fund," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno on Sunday (8/4/2024).

In the written statement, he says that the tourism in Natuna Regency has it's own uniqueness such as rare stones spectacles in its several tourist destinations.

"We are also continue to coordinate with Transportation Ministry and aviation companies to suppress the ticket price to and from Natuna. We also holding several national-scale event in Natuna,"said Minister Uno.

He ensures that the ticket price from and to Natuna will be going down 10 percent soon. He hopes under the leadership of the elected President Prabowo, the development of Natuna tourist destination will be included among the priorities.

"In 2024, particularly in October, the ticket price to Natuna predicted to be going down 10 percent. Natuna has amazing natural view and captivating local priority, thus we hope that it would be among the priorities during the times of Prabowo and Gibran," conclude Minister Uno.
