inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor emphasized the importance of inclusive synergy among stakeholders to achieve independence for workers with disabilities.
"Collaboration between the employment and social welfare sectors must continue to be strengthened so that people with disabilities receive not only training but also real opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship," explained Afriansyah on Tuesday (10/21/2025).
Furthermore, he explained that the Ministry of Manpower is continuously expanding inclusive employment policies.
By strengthening the Disability Services Unit (ULD) of the Ministry of Manpower as an integrated service center and the Directorate of Special Manpower Placement (PTKK), which focuses on improving job access for vulnerable groups, the Ministry of Manpower continues to open opportunities for people with disabilities to enter the workforce, both formal and independent.
He further stated that collaboration between the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Social Affairs is also crucial in strengthening the empowerment of people with disabilities towards independent, productive, and prosperous lives.
As a follow-up, Afriansyah outlined several strategic steps that can be developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
These include aligning the vocational training curriculum with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) and integrating training participant data with the SIAPKerja portal.
