However, he ensures that the regulation will not ignore the protection of rights and welfare of the workforce. “Digitalization have revolutionized workforce market, changed work organization, work structure, and the nature of the work itself. Digitalization has opened the door for efficiency and productivity improvement,” said Anwar through his official statement on Wednesday (3/13/2024). He continues that Indonesia has proactively implement employment policy that is adaptive as a response of rapid technological advancement. This initiative is taken to ensure continuous development and improvement skill improvement of the workforce. “This is important to create an inclusive regulation that promotes talent management. And also open a fair chance for all individuals to contribute to the workforce,” said Anwar. On that forum, Indonesia recommends regulation structure that protects individual worker career rights to protect the integrity of worker, self-fulfillment, and fair treatment in digital era.
