Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia's athletics team wrapped up the 85th Singapore Open Track & Field Championships with a strong finish, winning two more gold medals on the final day, bringing their total to seven on Friday (25/4/2025).
Nofeldi Petingko claimed gold in the men’s 10,000-meter race with a time of 32:03.66, while Idan Fauzan won the pole vault event after clearing 5.15 meters. Their victories added to the five golds earned on day one, including a national record by Yad Hapizudin in the men’s 1,500 meters.
The team also added two bronze medals on the final day. Mutiara Oktara Al Pasha finished third in the women’s 800 meters, trailing athletes from Thailand and the Philippines. Siti Nurhaliza from Jakarta secured another bronze in the women’s 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.18.
In total, Indonesia brought home 7 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronzes from the two-day championship—an impressive display of the country's growing athletic talent.
