inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti invited Japanese business actors to collaborate in facing various challenges in global trade that exist today.

At a meeting with the Japan Indonesia Association (JAPINDA) in Tokyo, Japan, Roro explained that Indonesia remains committed to a global trading system based on rules.

In responding to current trade conditions, Indonesia will prioritize constructive dialogue efforts with various parties.

"At the national level, Indonesia is trying to increase transparency, ensure regulatory certainty, market diversification, and domestic market resilience. We invite Japanese business actors to work together in facing this challenging situation," said Dyah Roro on Tuesday (6/10/2025).

He said that JAPINDA has proven to be an important partner in encouraging Indonesian trade and investment.

This is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita vision that Indonesia's trade policy emphasizes increasing international cooperation, market diversification, deregulation of trade policies, and strengthening foreign exchange reserves.

"We invite JAPINDA to continue fostering sectoral cooperation in economic development with a focus on automotive, energy, agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure," concluded the Vice Minister of Trade.
