inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of South Korea are collaborating to strengthen the capacity of Indonesian creative talent in the global arena through the "House of Indonesia (HOI) Week".

"This is the spirit that we want to develop Indonesian creative talent through the House of Indonesia program. We believe that cultural collaboration is not only related to tradition, but also to creative ideas, new ideas, stronger ideas, and more relevant to the global world," concluded Vice Minister of Culture Giring Ganesha, Wednesday (10/15/2025).

Giring hopes that this activity can strengthen the cultural side of local talents in several regions where the training is held, namely Jakarta, Makassar, Badung-Bali, Jambi, Cirebon and Sikka-NTT with four areas: animation training, documentary films, mobile content, cultural and art education.

Furthermore, through cooperation between countries through this cultural diplomacy, it is hoped that both countries can learn about each other's cultures so that it can have an impact on increasingly harmonious diplomatic relations between the two countries.

"We have a lot to learn from Korea, and I hope Korea can also take something valuable from us," added Giring.

On the same occasion, South Korean Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia Park Soo Deok said that the works presented in this event not only demonstrate the technical abilities and creativity of the participants, but also the spirit of cross-cultural collaboration that is at the heart of this project.

"We hope this series can provide broader opportunities for young Indonesian creators to participate and continue to develop through Outdoor Indonesia," said Park Soo Deok.

The HOI event has involved 480 participants in Jakarta who produced eight animated episodes and 1,545 participants in Makassar who have produced one documentary film.
