Inp.polri.go.id - Sejong.  Indonesia and South Korea have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in legal information systems and legislative exchange.

The agreement, inked in Sejong on Thursday (6/2/2025), was signed by Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights Supratman Andi Agtas and South Korea’s Minister of Government Legislation Lee Wan-Kyu.

The partnership focuses on sharing expertise, real-time legal information exchange, and developing advanced legal information systems. It also includes capacity-building initiatives and joint international conferences to improve legislative quality.

Minister Supratman highlighted the importance of leveraging South Korea’s legal technology to strengthen Indonesia’s legal framework.

“This cooperation will enhance our knowledge and technology use, contributing to Indonesia’s legal development,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The five-year agreement builds on existing bilateral ties, including joint research and capacity-building programs. Both nations aim to foster a more transparent and efficient legal environment through this collaboration.
