Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia’s U-19 women’s national football team has secured a spot in the 2025 AFF U-19 Women’s Championship semifinals after a convincing 4–0 victory over Malaysia in their final Group B match on Friday (13/6/2025) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Goals came from Nasywa Salsabila (14’), Sydney Hopper (30’), Jezlyn Kayla Azkah (60’), and Allya Putri (63’), lifting Indonesia to second place in the group with four points—one above Malaysia.
The victory is Indonesia’s second consecutive semifinal appearance, repeating their 2023 run where they were eliminated by Thailand.
Indonesia, coached by Akira Higashiyama, will face hosts Vietnam in the semifinal. Vietnam enters the knockout stage as group winners, having scored 16 goals and conceded none.
Indonesia’s path to the semifinals included a 6–1 loss to Thailand, a 1–1 draw against Cambodia, and today’s decisive win over Malaysia.
