inp.polri.go.id - The National Police's International Relations Division together with the Papua New Guinea Police or the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC) have agreed to eradicate transnational crime, especially in border areas. This step was taken because it is impossible for a country to handle transnational crime alone, making a cooperation with other countries is neccessary. Head of International Relations Division of Police, Inspector General Krishna Murti, explained during his visit to the country, his party also discussed several current situations related to the handling of transnational crimes by each police force in dealing with them. In addition, several activities were also discussed to strengthen the capacity of police institutions, especially through capacity building. "In the capacity building program, we have offered Middle School of Staff and Leaders scholarship to the RPGC for managerial levels. Polri has also offered the Jakarta Center for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) training program for technical arrangements," explained the Two-Star General, Thursday (12/8).
