Indonesia National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of nine nutritious service unit (SPPG) kitchens under Polda Riau, as part of the INP ’s support for President Prabowo Subianto’s free nutritious meal (MBG) program.

“This demonstrates the National Police’s commitment to supporting President Prabowo’s flagship program aimed at rapidly improving the quality of Indonesia’s human resources,” he said on Sunday (13/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Chief Sigit noted that this marks the second phase of kitchen development, following the successful operation of one kitchen in the region. A similar groundbreaking has also been carried out for 29 kitchens in North Sumatra.

He targets the completion of 200 kitchens by December 2025. As of now, 18 kitchens are operational, 27 are in the final prep stages, and 145 are under construction.
