Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo urged Indonesians to reflect on the meaning of Good Friday as a moment to strengthen national unity. In his message, he emphasized the value of faith and compassion in upholding harmony.

“Let this moment be a time for reflection, renewing faith, and deepening love to fortify unity,” he said in a statement on Friday (18/4/2025).

Chief Sigit noted that unity will be key to achieving Indonesia's future vision, including the Indonesia Emas 2045 goals. Extending greetings to Christian communities observing the holy day, he also highlighted the spirit of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.

“Jesus gave His life not because we were worthy, but because of His immense, unconditional love,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Chief Sigit reminded that Good Friday offers a message of hope through suffering, salvation through pain, and new life beyond death.
