Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially inaugurated SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara and SMA Global Darussalam Academy high schools on Sunday (20/7/2025), expecting that the students will become future leaders of the nation.
“It is an extraordinary joy to gather here today for the joint inauguration of these elite schools, part of President Prabowo Subianto's vision to build top-tier education institutions,” he said during the ceremony, as reported by antaranews.com.
Over 11,000 students applied to the two schools, with only 120 accepted into SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara and 67 into SMA Global Darussalam Academy. Selection was based on academic scores as well as physical, psychological, and medical tests.
“These students passed purely on merit. This gives us great hope,” he added.
Chief Sigit likened the selected students to “24-carat gold,” urging educators to shape them into Indonesia’s next generation of global achievers.
