Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan said on Tuesday (13/5/2025) that the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo plays a crucial role in accelerating President Prabowo Subianto’s national food self-sufficiency agenda.

"General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has been immensely supportive, especially toward Islamic organizations. He attends nearly every major event—more often than I do,” he said during the 15th Congress of the United Islamic People’s Union (PUI) in Jakarta, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Zulhas highlighted the INP’s active role in corn planting across regions as a tangible example of cross-sectoral support for food security, traditionally handled by technical ministries. The police’s logistical and operational backing, he said, has helped speed up both production and distribution.

He also credited Chief Sigit for helping stabilize grain prices after reforms and enforcement actions involving the police.
