Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police  (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is the sole candidate for Chairman of the Indonesian Cycling Federation (ISSI) for the 2025–2029 term, the selection committee confirmed on Tuesday (21/10/2025.

“We opened the nomination to everyone, but by the deadline, only one candidate submitted complete documents,  Mr. Listyo Sigit,” said Jadi Rajagukguk, the Head of the PB ISSI National Congress Steering Committee, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Ardy Mbalembout, the Head of the Selection and Verification Team, said Sigit’s team collected the registration form on October 15 and returned it complete on 20 October 2025. Out of 28 provincial cycling boards, 21 have declared support for his candidacy.

The PB ISSI Congress is scheduled for 30 and 31 October in Jakarta and will also discuss revisions to the organization’s statutes. 

Chief Sigit previously served as PB ISSI chairman from 2021–2025, during which Indonesia’s cycling team achieved record success, including its first Asian Games gold in BMX racing through Sifa Amellya Nur and a bronze by Jasmine Azzahra Setyobudi.
